What's New


	Tim Johnson - Lead Vocals and Guitar Tim, a Jacksonville, AL resident, is the primary vocalist and a lead guitar player for the band. He has written and recorded several original songs. He has also worked on various music projects and recording sessions with other artists. Tim was one of the finalists in the 2004 "Nashville Star" regional competition. Tim is employed at the Coca Cola distribution center in Oxford, AL. Danny Slick - Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar Danny, an Oxford, AL, resident is the band's manager, one of its lead vocalists and the band's bassist. He is one of the original members of the '80's era "Southern Nites" Band which had a significant regional following. After the original band disbanded and after several years of playing with other bands, he put the current "Southern Nites" configuration together. Danny is employed in the flooring business in Oxford, AL. Bruce Greene - Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar Bruce, a Saks, AL, resident; is the band's keyboardist, does back-up vocals and plays acoustic and steel guitar. He is also the band's sound and lighting technician. He has played with a number of local and regional groups, and brings more than 25 years of experience to the group. Bruce is employed with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Kim Nichols, Lead Guitar and Vocals Kim, a Cherokee County native, is a Centre, AL resident, and has joined the Band as the lead guitarist. Kim and Angela are welcome additions to the "Southern Nites" family. Kim, an excellent guitar stylist, comes from a musical family - his brother and uncle also play guitar. Kim has been playing since he was six and plays everything from MoTown to soft rock to country. He teaches guitar as well. (Just watch his fingers fly on hot lead licks!) Kim is employed as the Auto Collision Repair instructor for the Cherokee County Career and Technology Center in Centre, AL. Kim also enjoys playing golf. (And no, he's not related to Joe Nichols.) Stan Hammett, Drums/Percussion and Vocals Stan, a Saks resident, recently joined the band in the key position as the Band's full-time drummer. Stan has extensive experience in recording studio projects, live performance and concert venue projects, drum student training and has written/recorded some of his own material.
